WILLIAM
F. MCCANN
Personal-Educational
Mr.
McCann was born in Abilene, Texas, and graduated Salutatorian of Abilene
High School. He graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor
of Arts Degree (with Honors) and from the University of Texas
at Austin School of Law in 1975 with a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree
(with Honors). At the University of Texas School of Law, Mr. McCann
was a member of Phi Delta Phi and a Director of the Legal Research Board.
Mr. McCann served on active duty in the U.S. Navy, achieving the rank
of Lieutenant.
Professional
Mr. McCann concentrates in banking (with emphasis on commercial
lending and real estate lending), real estate transactions, and contracts.
Mr. McCann has spoken at seminars and meetings and has authored articles
and papers on banking and real estate topics. Mr. McCann is a Fellow
of the Texas Bar Foundation.
Service to Community
Mr. McCann has served on the boards of directors and as an officer
of civic organizations and has been active as a volunteer for charitable
and educational organizations, including the American Cancer Society,
the American Heart Association, the United Way, Texas Christian University,
and the Van Cliburn Foundation.
