WILLIAM H. BLAIR

Personal-Educational
Mr. Blair was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on October 15, 1948, and graduated from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas. He graduated from North Texas State University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance and thereafter graduated from Baylor School of Law in 1976 with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. While at Baylor he served as Associate Editor of the Baylor Law Review. In 1981, Mr. Blair graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law with a Masters of Law in Taxation.

Professional
Mr. Blair practices primarily in the area of tax law with an emphasis in estate and gift tax. He is also involved in estate planning and probate. He has been Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Tax Law since 1987. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Blair was in solo practice in Fort Worth and was previously a shareholder in another major Fort Worth law firm. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and of the Tarrant County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the Texas Supreme Court, the Federal District Court of the Northern District of Texas and the United States Tax Court.

Service to Community
Mr. Blair is a graduate of the Leadership Fort Worth program and is a member of Forum Fort Worth. He has served on the Board of Directors of Downtown Fort Worth, Inc., the Salvation Army, North Texas Caledonian Pipes and Drums and the Texas Wind Symphony. He was also a founding member and director of the H.E.B. Education Foundation.
