LYNN M. JOHNSON

Personal-Educational
Ms. Johnson was born in Dassel, Minnesota, on September 24, 1959.  She graduated from Concordia College in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  She attended the University of Arizona and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1984 with a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree.  While at the University of Minnesota, Ms. Johnson was a student director to the Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners from 1983 to 1984.  She was a finalist in the Appellate Advocacy Competition in 1983 and an Appellate Advocacy instructor from 1983 to 1984.

Professional
Ms. Johnson is involved primarily in general civil/commercial and probate litigation.  She is a member of the Bar Association Tax and Estate Planning and Women Attorneys Sections.

Service to Community
Ms. Johnson serves on the Board of Directors of the Aledo Children's Advocates, East Parker County Park and Recreational Foundation and the Aledo High School Project Celebration 2012. Ms. Johnson has served as a member of the Aledo Independent School District Strategic Planning Committee and the Fort Worth Independent School District Minimum Basic Education Compliance Review Committee.  She has also taught fifth-graders the Bill of Rights and participated in the Fort Worth Adopt a School Program. Ms. Johnson has done pro bono work in the Lawyers Against Domestic Violence program and for Aledo Independent School District and the University United Methodist Church.
