C. EDWARD FOWLER, JR. Mr. Fowler was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi. He graduated from Rhodes College in 1965 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. Mr. Fowler received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Vanderbilt University in 1968, where he was a member of the National Moot Court Team. He served as a law clerk to Chief Judge William E. Miller, United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee from 1968 to 1969.
Professional Mr. Fowler has served both as a trial and appellate attorney in commercial and personal injury cases. He has completed over 150 major jury trials in state and federal courts representing both plaintiffs and defendants and has experience in multi-district, class action and mass tort litigation. He is licensed to and has practiced before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the Supreme Court of Texas, numerous State Courts of Appeals, and District Courts throughout the State of Texas. Mr. Fowler also serves as a mediator, having successfully mediated over 200 cases. He has lectured at numerous seminars on litigation topics for the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
