DENNIS SWIFT

Mr. Swift was born in Norman, Oklahoma, on November 14, 1946.  He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1969 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.  He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 1972 with a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree.

Professional
Mr. Swift engages in commercial, real estate, and banking law.  He represents numerous banks and has expertise in a broad range of banking law areas including real estate and commercial lending, negotiable instruments, and contracts.  Mr. Swift has spoken at, and chaired, numerous seminars on banking law topics, including the Practicing Law Institute, State Bar of Texas, American Institute of Banking, and in-house meetings for several banks.  Mr. Swift also has authored several banking law articles for the Texas Bar Journal, the Texas Banker's Digest, the Texas Bank Lawyer's Association, and local newspapers.
