Mr. Cheatham was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on December 1, 1958. Mr. Cheatham served on active duty with the U.S. Army from 1980 to 1985, achieving the rank of Captain. Mr. Cheatham concluded his active duty tour as Commander of an attack helicopter troop with the 6th Cavalry Brigade at Fort Hood, Texas, and served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1985 to 1988.
